women's health, wellbeing & life transitions

Supporting women through pregnancy, motherhood, hormonal change and the challenges of everyday life.

Life can change in ways we don't always expect.

Perhaps you're navigating pregnancy or early motherhood and finding things harder than you imagined. Maybe perimenopause or menopause has left you feeling anxious, overwhelmed or unlike yourself. Or perhaps you're living with a women's health condition that's affecting more than just your physical wellbeing.

You might be managing everything on the outside, while privately feeling exhausted, disconnected or uncertain about who you are.

Whatever has brought you here, you deserve space to be heard.

At HÆLA Therapy, I offer individual counselling to help you explore your experiences, understand your emotions and reconnect with yourself.

In-person counselling in Hale, Altrincham, and online across the UK.

Our physical health, emotional wellbeing, relationships and sense of identity are often closely connected.

Changes to our bodies, hormones, roles and circumstances can influence how we feel about ourselves and the world around us.

Sometimes we find ourselves feeling anxious, low, irritable or overwhelmed without fully understanding why.

As a qualified therapist I can work with you to explore these feelings without judgement, expectation or pressure to have everything figured out.

My private therapy office in Hale, Cheshire, is a calming, peaceful and confidential space designed to make you feel comfortable and at ease. The modern, minimalistic interior creates a quiet space from the outside world.

How I can support you

Pregnancy, postnatal wellbeing & motherhood: From pregnancy anxiety to adjusting to life as a mother, I offer space to explore the emotional challenges that can accompany this significant life transition.

Perimenopause & menopause: Changes in mood, confidence, relationships and identity can make this stage of life feel unexpectedly difficult. Counselling can help you make sense of what you're experiencing and explore ways forward.

Women's health & emotional wellbeing: Living with conditions such as endometriosis or chronic pelvic pain can affect your emotional wellbeing, relationships and sense of self. Therapy offers a space to process these experiences and their impact on your life.

Anxiety, burnout & overwhelm: You don't need to be going through a specific life transition to benefit from counselling. I also support women experiencing anxiety, low self-esteem, stress, emotional exhaustion and the pressure of everyday life.
